Hi,

You may browse your pictures through navigation of your folders and storage disks. These steps are applicable to any other cameras:
· Open "My Computer" or "Computer". It will show you all the storage disks available, similar to the image below.

I got this camera used - mongkey_6.jpg
· Double-click on the Removable Disk assigned for your camera. Commonly, it will show you 2 folders. One of them contains your pictures.
· Select all pictures. Ctrl+A.
· Copy all pictures. Ctrl+C.
· Create a folder in pictures folder then label it.
· Paste all pictures. Ctrl+V. Wait till all pictures are copied into the folder you created.

I hope this works for you. Goodluck!

Of course you need a software.
Download IrfanView (this is a free download. and I recommend CNET for downloads) and install it. Use 'Create Panoramic image...' menu option.

Sounds like your computer or the software program you're using to download your pics is set to automatically erase the card after the download.

Canon SD100 Powershot Can't download pics

You may have accidently removed the photo programs you were using. Check to see if the software programs are indeed still on your computer by searching by name. If it or they are there , open one of the programs before you connect the camera and it should automatically download.

If they have been removed use the disc that came with your camera to reload the software program.

Deleted pictures

There is no way you to mass deleted all pictures by just touching the screen. You must first display the pic you want to delete, then press the Trash Icon, then select yes on the screen, so accidental pic deleting is very hard to do.

I believe your pics are still on the camera, else the camera is defective.

Kodak dx 6490

Try uninstalling the program and then install the earlier version via the CD that came with the camera. If your computer has a built in SD reader, you could use the drag and drop method of transferring your photos as I find that is the easiest and hassle-free way.

How to use

you can display the pics you have already taken by pressing the "mode" button twice. The first time you press the button it brings you to record mode, so you can shoot home movies, the second time you press it you will see your stored pics. In order to do this, the front view finder of your camera has to be open. I hope this helps.....I am currently seeking answers to my own questions as well: I need to know how to shut off the flash on this camera as it is BLINDING!! LOL! also I would like to know where I can get the cable to download the pics to my computer. If anyone has this info to share, that would be great! Thanks!
