Print quality My prints are coming out with a purplish tint to them. When I print from the Internet, it is very faded. My cartrideges are new and I did clean and calibrate the printer heads.

Remove the black and color ink cartridges.
Right above where the black ink cartridge was, in the top left hand corner of the printhead, push up towards the ceiling and you should be able to push a button that releases the printhead.
Place the printhead right back into the printer and push straight back on the back wall.
You should hear a loud snap.
Replace the ink cartridges which should snap as well.
Close the printer.
After about a minute or so the printer will ask you to do a calibration.
Insert a paper and press start.
Scan the calibration sheet.
After that, in the menu, do a printhead clean.
Do one basic and one deep.
Print a demo sheet to see if anything has changed.
If the picture looks better, continue to do cleans.
In the event that it does not, the printhead will need to be replaced and since the printer is still under warranty, Kodak specialists will try to overnight you a printhead.
The whole process is short and free.

I have wep printronix p7500 line printer. I haven't uses the printer since last 24-30 month. when i print a text file using edit.exe. it print quality is very fade. I brought a new ribbon for this printer....

I'm guessing the carrier solvent for the ink has evaporated. (Ribbon is old and dried out - even the new one) In the past, i have sprayed WD40 on unspooled ribbons and rewound them to bring ribbons back to life but that can be messy with spotty results. Suggest you buy direct fro Printronix.....

Print quality: dark faded, but continuous

Open top cover and remove toner, shake toner cartridge and try a test print. IF image good then problem is low toner level in cartridge.

Poor print quality .... Canon Pixma MP140 ...

Paper quality does make a difference in the quality of print, but it's usually in the areas of blurriness and vibrance. If your prints are coming out faded, the quality for your prints might be set to 'economy', which doesn't use very much ink. If you have it set for 'quality' prints, I would try replacing the ink cartridges.

Bad photo quality after changing drum

your laser printer
1) print color quality is now distorted that means print skew (technician called)
2) print tint means the print color not enough density,
3) print mottle means print dirty
you may try
1) print distorted--- find out the skew adjustment from your printer manu, it is adjust the image before transfer to the drum.
2) print skew could be happened when the drum replace install not very accurate, so install it more carefully.
3) print tint---you may increase print density from the manu, not fix,
4) print tint---the toner caridge near life cycle or using the less compatible toner. so you have change the quality toner or cartridge (if near life cycle) to improve quality photo print
5)print mottle---toner quality ? or cartridge near life cycle also cause print dirty paper,

Green Tint Over Entire Printed Picture

I had a very similar problem and found out that the problem was the quality of paper I was using. Remember, a photo printer is expecting high quality results. Cheap, low quality paper will not accept the ink as well as higher quality paper. I can't guarantee this will solve your problem but I have not had any green tints since switching to a higher quality photo paper.
