Re: I can't reset my Zen...
Depending on your model you may be able to remove the battery without too much trouble. Please reply with your model and i can probably tell you how to remove the battery. That will definitely shut it down (and hopefullly the next time you start it everything will be fine).
If you don't feel like doing that, just wait for the battery to run out of power.
The next time you start it you should update your player's firmware. If this keeps happening ship it back to creative (http://www.creative.com/support) if it is under warranty.

When this happened to me with my Zez I was able to reset it by pushing the reset button (located in a little hole next to the dock on the bottom of the unit) with a straightened paper clip or other small object capable of fitting in the hole for a few seconds until the unit fully resets. If that doesn't work you can try putting the unit in to recovery mode to reset it by doing this:
Detach the Zen Sleek player from your computer, and ensure that the unit
Connect the power supply to the player (Optional, unless the battery is very
Hold down the Play/Pause button, and then insert
a paper clip into the Reset hole underneath your player, beside the data/power
Remove the paper
clip from the Reset hole. The
Rescue Mode screen will then appear.
After the recovery mode has started, release the Play/Pause button
Check your LAN settings by going to Internet Options, select "connections" then LAN settings, then check the box that says "automatically detect settings". Click okay, and that should fix your problem. You have that have those options enabled to let some common programs detect your internet connectivity.
