Save yourself the hassle of trying, buy a new keyboard, they are cheap and will save you time. If you dont want to buy new, ask some friends if they got one they don't need. Recycle!! Hope you are in luck.

My computer seems to boot up fine but my monitor says no signal and my keyboard doesnt work

You can try tighten up the cable behind the monitor or disconnect the cables and reconnect. You can try another monitor to see whether the mother board and the cable works. Some settings in BIOS may be changed to use on-board video card (the one embeded on the mother board, which is connected on the ports out of the card slots) on your computer so make sure it is using the graphic card that is connected to the monitor. For keyboard, if may be mechanic issue on port or keys or cables if you will not see anything wrong about the keyboard. You can try to use another USB port if it is an USB keyboard or use a USB/PS2 converter if the PS2 keyboard port is not working. If it is a PS2 keyboard, you can check whether the pins are bent and reconnect it. Sometimes that helps. If it is a wireless keyboard, then you will need to fix the monitor and then maybe fix the driver and stuff. You can remove all objects beneath the keys by putting it upside down and shake it or use a blower.

I am trying touse a Mouse and Keyboard, by PS2 to USB adpators. When the machine boots up, I get this alert: "Hit Control, ALT Del to stabilze the system." The mouse or the keyboard does not work.

Do not work. No telling what's wrong with the thing without checking the connections with an eye to ruined PS/2 ports out back (though it's possible the interface chips are fallen victim to ESD (static, say).)
Cleaning might fix it, or might not.
It's ancient, please don't use that kind of technology on the web at large instead of well behind school or company firewalls.

Mouse and keyboard do not respond

repeatadly press the delete key on your keyboard when booting up to go into dos. then in dos there will be an option (probably in peripherals) to enable wireless keyboards and mouse. enable it. if you can not get into dos then you will have to use a standard wired keyboard and do it that way. then the wireless keyboard should work.

i think there should be some loose connection... as you say there is no response... please check your connection of the keyboard with the CPU.... because if the connection is good atleast few keys will work evenif there is prob with your keyboard..

Keyboard doesnt work on my repaired emachine with win xp

Could be a couple of things.

First, try connecting another keyboard using the same type of connection as your keyboard. (PS2, or USB). If that one works in the machine; then it's more then likely that there is a problem with your keyboard.

If it doesn't work, it may be a problem with the system itself or possibly a software problem. To test a keyboard is very simple and this test is integrated in most of the BIOS startup systems today. Simply press more than 7 keys right when you turn your power on to the system. If it beeps after a few seconds of holding or brings up a keyboard error, then the keyboard is communicating with the system. If there's a keyboard error that actually states that there is no keyboard present; then there is a problem.

I hope this helps you narrow it down. If it's not the keyboard itself, and you can't get any keyboards to work, I'd have that shop take another look at what they did.

I recently purchased the cordless mx 3200 laser desktop (ie keyboard and mouse). I have been able to get the mouse working, but not the keyboard. I keep trying the connect buttons but there seems to be...

Push the connect button on the base - the light on the base should flash. Push the connect button on the keyboard. The light should stop flashing. (This is the generic Logitech way - individual models may vary slightly.)
