Identity safe is gone on Inspiron 15-R laptop
Correction The Identity Safe is still there, the data contained in it is gone.
This is a problem that has many possible causes. It can not be sorted out in one step.
1) Run a Full Virus Scan
2) Run Scan Disk
3) Run Disk Defrag
4) Run Memcheck from the dos prompt
If all results are ok run System Restore or Restore from a System Backup.
If the Virus Scan shows a Problem than follow the onscreen instructions to clear the problem.
If the Disk Scan shows a problem than you can ether follow the onscreen instruction to clear the problem if it is a software problem (usually requires format of the hard drive, so backup your data) or if it is a hardware problem you may need to buy a new Hard Drive.
If Disk Defrag shows a problem you need to replace the Hard Drive.
If Memcheck shows a problem you need to replace your RAM, however this is unlikely unless you are getting BSOD's on a regular basis.
