Hi mate you dont say if your dvd has the output phono plugs our scart connectors if it has phono plugs there should be a door at the side of your samsung tv that takes this connection if it has a scart connector just get a scart to scart lead

Dont have manual how do i change to watch a dvd

It will depend on the model but, you note which input you have the DVD hooked up to on the rear of the set---Component 1? 2? Then you use the input (some Mitsubishi's label it Device) and move until you are on the same input the DVD player is connected to.

If your DVD is HD you will if not using it for HD reception connect to the DTV input which is input on back---again not knowing the model number of your set--it is this simple---watch on whatever input the DVD player is connected to---most need a component input but some will use RCA which is yellow (video) red and white which are audio.

Component inputs require Green to green, Blue to Blue, and Red to red AND SEPERATE red and white for audio. 5 connections for typical component and three for RCA or composite.

Let me know if this helps you by rating this solution as I do this here for free.

Connect the dvd player to one of the video inputs of the tv. Connect the left and right audio outputs from the tv to an input of the receiver. aux, or whatever you choose. Simple.

We are having trouble connecting our dvd player to our samsung tv.

couple of ways but the easiest way would be connecting the video and audio out from DVD need rca connections yellow red and white)
Yellow --- Video
white and red is audio out left and right.
find in your tv set inputs with similar colors its going to be input 1
or input 2 (as an example)
once you conect the cable matching colors yellow to yellow red to red and white to white make sure you select the same input on your set (video 1 or 2) that its throu input selection in remote control from tv or set itself.

Hi! name's wesley. anyways, here's the problem. i just bought a new samsung 32' lcd tv and everything is great except for one thing: when i connect my ps2 to the "av 2" input, the sound comes out...

There is a problem with the AV2 input. Since this is a new set, return it for repair or exchange. DO NOT open it up as that would void the warranty.

RCA D52W15 52 in. Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

The component connections are usually video only and the audio goes to separate connectors set aside for that input. Check your manual to make sure you have all the connections made.

Confused about Connections

Bob, you can do this, grab 3 rca cables, 1 yellow 1 red 1 white.
the holes on the back of the dvd are colored coded, you guessed it yellow ,red, white, plug the cables into the matching colored holes, your done with the dvd player, now take the other end of these 3 cables and guess what the plugs on the back of the tv are the same color code as well, take a flashlight and find the 3 colored holes marked " input 1" stick the yelloe cable in the yellow hole , red in red hole, white in white hole, turn on dvd player & tv, grab your remote for the tv and find the input button and push it until the screen show "vid1" or "video 1", input 1 what ever yours says and you`ll be watching your dvds.
