Hi there! The switches probably need changing on the circuit board inside the unit as they corode after time. Mine had the same problem lucky for me my brother is god with circuit boards and replaced all switches and now they work fab. Or you can bye special electric switch cleaner and clen te switches on the circuit board. Hope this helps.

My pioneer cdj 800 mk2 is constantly looping itself, please help!

This probably means that one or two of the tact switches which enable the loop (loop in, loop out, reloop) is damaged and need to be replaced. In pioneer cd players when a tact switch is semi-broken, then if you press another button then it looks like you pressed that semi-damaged switch. For example you may hit "cue" and the cdj loops! It is quite common.
If you have some soldering skills this is the tact switch:

Hi,

There is no other option than cleaning.
The player must be taken apart to clean those knobs and housing.

Kind regards,

Cdj 1000-mk-2

Could be either the Track skip switch has collapsed and is thus over sensative or the button bank is broken and the track skip switch is being pressed when the cue button is used.
Could also have liquid spillage on the circuit board which cause all sorts of random problems

Cdj-500ll cue button repair

the faulty button will not stop it from playing well... replacing them is not hard so long as you have some experience with a soldering iron.
Clean the laser lens with a cotton bud wet with windex... then use a dry one to be sure no residue is left. If it still mistracks... new optics required!. You willl need a pioneer service agent to do this for you. A little complex for the first timer :)
