Question about Printers & Copiers

1 Answer

I received a photo through e-mail. It is very large. I saved it to My Pictures and moved it to a folder in Kodak easyshare, but I can't print it. How do I make it small enough to print as a 4 x 6"? I want to print the photo on a EasyShare printer dock.

Whoa!

Large means 2 completely different things.

1] large file, has high resolution & takes up Megabytes [some e-mails will choke at this.

2] physical size of print.

what these 2 things have to do with each other is: the bigger [1], the better [2] will look.

This is because with more pixels to work with, the ultimate image is better.

The available memory in your computer may not be enough to handle the entire image. Add memory to the computer or send the picture to yourself with a program that "resizes" like outlook, OR have the original sender do the last step.

It is possible that you can change the bit depth [number of colors] on the image, but this isn't recommended for output quality.

Kodak EasyShare 5300- Won't print

I fumbled around a similar problem today. After printing photos you have to convert the printer to print to paper. If there is a green LED on the printer your are in PHOTO mode. Reach into the 4x6 printer and pull back the slide and the LED will go out. Now you can print on paper.

Scan to File 1 Place a photo or photos face down on the scanner glass.
2 Press Scan to display the Scan menu.
3 Press or to select Photo.
4 Press until Scan To is selected.
5 Press or to select File.

I design cards with my own photography - have incorporation question

a lot of softwares will not run in conjunction with one another, just like nero and sonic whom do not recognize each others files, rarely you can find a glitch where they can run together, you may save as to make a different picture, and save it in a folder not associated with kodak, in my documents or my pictures, the original pic will still be in kodak, when you save as, add a -1 -2 etc.

Color is all wrong

Your pictures are coming out with a blue tint. Remove the color catridge and look at the bottom of it. the Yellow is probably green. If it isn't, trying performing a printhead cleaning through your home center. After that, calibrate the printer, you may see that on the calibration sheet, that colors are missing. Scan the calibration page and then try your printing your pictures. If that doesn't work, contact kodak tech support, you need a new printhead.

Printer will not read SD card from Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ3

Put the card in an adapter or in your computer. Make sure the pictures are not in folders. The printer is unable to read them if they are.
Also, the file size of the picture cannot be over 8 MB and the image size has to be below 12 megapixels.
