I just got my lexmark from ebay, it is a lexmark 2600. I have a quick start guide, but I do not see any user manual. This was refurbished and I have a year warranty. Do I not get cartridges with this? Thanks, Ralph Uidl Without a user manual how do I know how to learn to use this?

If you have already installed the Lexmark X2670 driver on your computer (Windows), try to view the printer's User's Guide by going to the Start menu ? All Programs/Programs ? Lexmark 2600 Series ? User's Guide. If not, you can download the User's Guide for free from the Lexmark website at Lexmark 2600 Series User's Guide. User's Guide gives you some other instructions as well on how to use other features of the printer. Thanks.

You can refer to the Lexmark X2600 user's guide. If you're using Windows and you have already installed the Lexmark software on your computer, you can access the user guide by going to the Start menu -> All Programs/Programs -> Lexmark 2600 Series -> User's Guide. Go to page 44 for the steps on how to install the cartridges. If you can't access the user's guide, you can download it from the Lexmark website for free. Sometimes the ink cartridge carrier won't position automatically to the center even when the printer is on and the cover is open. Just unplug the printer from the power source. With the cover open, hold the solid white strip and gently slide the carrier to the center of the printer. Load the color cartridge into the right carrier. Close the cover. Plug the printer back to power source.

If the Lexmark X2600 series software is already installed in Windows:

1. Go to Start, (All) Programs, and point to Lexmark 2600 Series.
   
2. Select User's Guide.

Accessing the User's Guide on the installation CD:
If the software has not been installed yet:

1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. The Lexmark installation screen should appear. If not, open My Computer and double-click on the 2600 Series icon.
   
2. Click on the Documentation link.
   
3. Click on User's Guide to open the guide

User Guide, you may not see anything happening right away. Give it 20 seconds or so.

I downloaded it just now. Took 3 seconds, and the first page came up. It took another 12 seconds to fully download. I suggest, you let it download All the way, before looking through it.
I have a medium speed DSL connection.

You can save this file to your computer. This way, you can print it off, or burn it off to a CD disk.

After, (AFTER), the PDF file has fully downloaded, go up to the top header. Look at the icons.
Click on the Floppy disk icon.
It's the second one from the left.
Hovering your mouse cursor on it, will briefly reveal -> Click to save this file to your computer or another source <-

After you have clicked on it, a -> Save a Copy...<- window will come up.
In this window at the bottom, you will see -> File name: <-
In the box to the right of File name, is
-> v7649663_en.pdf <- highlighted in blue.

Unless you want to go around looking for v7649663_en.pdf, I suggest you do this.

1.Put your mouse cursor in the File name box. Put it right after the -> f <- in v7649663_en.pdf

Click the left mouse button once. Make one space with the space bar. Type -> Lexmark User Manual

It will be a lot easier to find.
Now go below to the right, and click on -> Save.
Unless you have your downloads set to save to your My Documents folder, this will go to your desktop screen.

Anyway can't found an official digital manual for it.
