Kenmore Oasis washing machine is completely dead

I stopped my Kenmore Oasis top-loading washing machine in mid-wash cycle and forgot to restart it. When I returned home approx. 10 hours later the machine was completely dead. At first I thought it was a power source problem but I checked the outlet and it was working fine. HELP! Is there some sort of re-set button or am I going to need a repairman.
