I measured it....it will deliver exactly 40 gallons before it's empty.
Read read read no label ever will allow this info to not be there
Read read read the label, it's not on the label... only how many sq ft it covers.
There are no istructions regarding amounts per gallon, etc. It says to use the measuring cup that came with the product. However, no measuring cups came with the product. Someone else answered the question for me, stating one tablespoon per gallon of water.

Yes, you can use Miracle-Gro Water Soluable Plant Food in the Ortho Dial N Spray hose-end sprayer. Simply set the dial on the Dial N Spray to 4 ounces. The label rate for Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant Food is 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. To make 8 gallons of finished spray, measure 8 rounded tablespoons of plant food into the Dial N Spray jar and fill the jar with water. Mix thoroughly. Set the dial at 4 ounces. When you have sprayed until jar is empty, you will have applied 8 gallons of properly diluted spray. Hilary@Scotts
Here some things to check on your sprayer to make sure it is working properly. Is your hose 50 ft or less? Is your water pressure above 40 psi? When you turn the arrow to feed do you hear a slight clicking sound? Is the bottle tightly screwed into the container? Do you see any foreign matter or crystallization of the bottle or the sprayer? Do you see any particles floating inside the bottle if you hold it to the light? If you point the bottle toward a bucket can you squirt product out? Have your tried more then one bottle? If you have tried more then one bottle, your hose and psi meet the minimum recommendation and you don't see any foreign matter on the bottle or sprayer there is something wrong with the applicator.
