The camera is defective. Call 800 730 6597. Btw, if there is a memory card in it, try it without and see if the problem still exists.

My polaroid iS2132 won't change settings when I turn the mode dial/Can't set the intelligent scene mode.

When you put the Mode dail to the SCN mode, It will enter the last used Scene mode. THEN press the MENU button to select other scene mode.
Don't turn any dail. Use the navigation controls left and right from the OK button, to move through the section. Press OK button to save and activate the selected scene mode.

How do I set my Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR to auto mode

If you mean the auto exposure mode, turn the mode dial on the top of the camera to the "A+" position, between the "P" and the lightning bolt.
If you mean autofocus, set the switch on the lens to the AF position if the lens has an autofocus switch. On the camera, press the AF button (cursor-right) then turn the command dial to select the desired mode.
If you mean the auto white balance, press the WB button (cursor-up) then turn the command dial to select the desired mode.
In the auto exposure mode the ISO mode is set to auto, and you can't change this.

Picture has lines on screen and is too bright

First off, make sure that you're in automatic mode, and not one of the camera's manual modes. If so, a stuck shutter is another common failure for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very bright and overexposed, sometimes with lines, especially when taken outdoors (for shutter stuck open). To confirm a stuck shutter, put the camera in any mode other than "Auto", and turn the flash OFF (you don't want to blind yourself for the next step). Next look down the lens and take a picture. You should see a tiny flicker in the center of the lens as the shutter opens and closes. If no movement is seen, then you likely have a stuck shutter. If so, please see this link for further info and a simple fix that may help.

Cybershot dsc-w70 stuck in video mode

Ok! I've searched and searched, so hopefully this will help you all out.

If the videos are very slow moving, you're in multi burst mode. Simple fix, actually...

Press menu button that's below the dial selector. There should be two small options near the bottom of the screen "mode" and the little suitcase.

Go into mode and make sure that Normal is selected. Multi Burst is actually a 16 frame per second function good for sports. It shows as a slow motion video on the camera and a sort of collage on your computer.

Hope this helps. :)

Noise during video recording

Turn off Continuous AF (auto focus) to prevent recording camera noise during video capture. When you turn off Continuous AF, you may notice a narrower area of focus or depth of field, especially if you zoomed to a telephoto position before recording. Turn the Mode dial to Video, then press the Menu button. Highlight the Continuous AF menu, then press the OK button. Highlight Off, then press the OK button. (On is the default.) Press the Menu button to turn off the menu screen. This setting remains until you change it, change the Mode dial, or turn off the camera.
