Instant DVD Recorder stops working when I try to capture
I installed Dazzle DVC100, I have gone through all the instructions (including installing updates from pinnacle website).
When I start the program, I am able to choose the video source ok (Dazzle 100) and I see the picture. I then click "Next" and then I am able to choose my DVD burner ok (Running Vista on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo PI2550) but when I click on "Next", Windows says "Instant DVD Recorder has stopped working" and closes with no other info or solution. I can never get past this step.

I managed to get it to work by doing the following: 1. Installing the program and plugins/drivers included on the disk that comes with the device
2. Updating my Skype program to the newest version
3. Going into the Skype Webcam options menu and setting my Webcam input device to the the Dazzle DVD recorder (or what ever type you have) by selecting it in the drop-down selection box
I hope that this works for you :)
Dazzle DVD for windows can used only if you are windows system but for mac there is no particular driver or even the software to download. The product for MAC is Pinnacle video capture for mac which is the software is already included.
The reason why it is now showing because your computer did not detect it. If your Windows operating system is vista 64 bit then go ahead and download the driver in here. www.pinnaclesys.com then click on support, download/Studio and dazzle hardware for vista.
It is just because your dazzle is not detected by your computer. Here connect the dazzle at the back of your computer (if you used desktop) any other usb port (if you used laptop) Click on Start>Control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound and video games controller> right click on video capture device and uninstall it. Restart your computer. If ever that your computer has Vista 64 bit you need to download and install the driver.
