{: ) Check for excessive wear on any of the tires on the vehicle and then verify that all the tires are the same size, brand, and same model. It is also important to check and make sure the tire pressure is properly adjusted per the sticker on the door. The following examples listed below could cause this condition:
1. 2 tires on the vehicle are Goodyear P245/75R16 and the other 2 tires are Firestone P245/75R16
2. 2 Tires on the vehicle are brand new and the other two tires have excessive wear.
3. 2 Tires on the vehicle are Goodyear Wrangler SRA 265/70R17 and 2 tires are Goodyear Wrangler HP 265/70R17 (Same brand/different models)
4. Aftermarket Wheels and Tires (NON-OEM 20 inch wheels and tires)
5. Tire pressure is not properly adjusted.

How to remove the malfunction light from the dash

If you disassemble the instrument cluster to disable the light, an open circuit is created and the powertrain control module is put into a "limp in" or "service" mode. You maximum engine rpm is reduced. You maximum vehicle speed is reduced to 50 mph and several other systems are disabled (like stability control and traction control). You're better off just having it diagnosed and repaired properly.

What does check vsc mean

It means Vehicle Stability Control, usually dealing with an advanced ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System). It that light/message is on, then you will not have ABS, it goes into "LIMP" mode and disables the system. Your conventional (normal) hydraulic brakes will not be affected at all. I would definitely have this problem checked out by the dealer.

Stability service on dash

Usually means there is a problem with a sensor or other component - and the system is disabled when the light is on.
You need to have the computer scanned for trouble codes.

Stability service 2007 silverado

If you are saying the light is on, then what this means is that a fault has occurred in the stability control system and you need to have the system scanned for codes and then diagnosis run based on the fault codes read from the memory.

My teenager is in my vehicle out of town. my 2007 suburban light came on and said. Stability System disabled. What does that mean? And will she be ok?

Means electric stabilization system is not working or light is giving false reading. Yes, she can drive it home carefully--slower--if roads are slippery. Take to dealer to check light.
