Wifi

Try going to control panel > network connections

right click the wireless connection and select properties
at the bottom of the window is a tick box for displaying the system tray icon, tick it.

You could try a right click on a blank area on your task-bar goto properties then untick "Hide inactive icons", it may help.

If not go here, theres a bunch of ideas that could help you.

The taskbar is upside down and at the top of the screen

On Windows computers, you should have what is known as the taskbar. This is the gray strip that runs across the bottom of your computer and which displays icons for quickly accessing programs you frequently use. The taskbar also shows the "Start" menu, clock and icons for your Internet connections. Sometimes icons do not appear properly in the taskbar. This usually is because the computer is new and hasn't had icons placed in the taskbar manually, or because a default setting is off in the OS properties. Both are simple fixes.

1.Right-click the "Start" icon and select "Properties."

2.Select the "Taskbar" tab in the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" dialogue box.

3.Uncheck "Lock the taskbar" and "Auto-hide the taskbar." Check "Show Quick Launch." Since the Quick Launch box isn't available in some systems, you may need to right-click on the taskbar area, choose "Toolbars" and then select "Quick Launch."

4.Navigate to the programs you want to show on the taskbar through the "Start" menu or on your desktop. Right-click the program and drag it to the taskbar. Choose "Create shortcuts here" from the menu that appears. The icon for the program should appear in the taskbar.

The tool bar used to be blue and look like modern computers now it is gray and looks like old ones how can i change it to make it look the way it use to be?

Irf you're referring to the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop, Go to Contol Panel>Display>Appearance> and change the Windows & Buttons from Windows Classic to Windows XP style. You can also change the themes to xp if you want all xp features on the desktop, and customize the color as you like it.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Did you right-click on the Start button and go to properties>taskbar page and check to see that the "Show Windows Preview" box is checked, under "Taskbar appearance"?

No sound on video

Please double click on the speaker icon present on the taskbar on the right hand side. you will get a master volume window. Now check if all the checkboxes are not ticked. If any one of the checkeboxes are ticked, please untick all the checkboxes and try again by playing a video or audio. Now your problem will be solved.
Thank you.

M2000 battery and very slow

The Power Options icon wont move to the taskbar. Double click on this icon, this opens the Power Options Properties window. Go to Advanced then select and select and tick Always show icon on the taskbar then apply. This should put the icon in the taskbar.

Try freeing some space using disk cleanup. You can also go to Internet Options to delete files stored in history.
