Creda Double Gas Oven. Model Europa Gas.48132.Serial No: 83 1 00087
When top oven is set to Mark 8 it does not reach that temperature.Gas flame appears to be greatly reduced.
Would appreciate obtaining a maintenance manual, I am capable of carrying out any repairs on this type of equipment.

This is what should happen:
1. You have a call for heat at the thermostat and the purge fan turns on.
2. 30 to 60 seconds later, you will hear a clicking sound or a glow plug ignitor get bright.
3. The pilot should light and withing a few seconds, the main burner should ignite.
4. The main burner will stay lit without the fan turning on. The fan
should turn on automatically about 45 seconds to 2 minutes, depending
on the temperature sensor in the heat exchanger.
sorry i cannot found maintenance manual in internet.

Depends which thermostat you are referring to.
Thje main oven stat is on the control panel, and is marked with the temp, the sensor being located at the top rear of the oven compartment.
The other stats are located at the top of the oven outer casing under the the top cover. you need to remove oven from housing to access these.
I GOT THE SAME QUESTION .. IT IS A GAS OVEN . WHEN THERMOSTAT IS SET TO GAS MARK 4 WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO 350 DEGREES , AFTER 10 MINUTES, IT REACHES ITS DESIRED TEMP. BUT IF I DON'T ADJUST THE FLAME, THE TEMP WILL RISE HIGHER AND HOTTER THAT I NEED TO OPEN THE OVEN DOOR TO DECREASE THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE. ANYONE KNOWS IF THAT IS NORMAL? THANKS
sounds like the ffd is at fault, this is a safety device that alows the main flow of gas through. when the cooker is cleaned the sensor can be moved by accident from its position over the flame, another reason could be a build up of grease etc, stopping the flame reaching the sensor. if none of these then the ffd unit needs to be replaced. they are about £20.00 for the part
Turn on the gas knob for the oven (below the grill) You will see an ignition button below the one that switches on the oven light,it is clearly marked. Press in and hold the gas knob and press ignite button, you will see the safety bar flame light, when the safe to operate temperature is reached, the oven will stay lit after you release the gas supply knob. Set oven temperate guage (gas mark 4 is approx electric 200 degrees, thats all there is too it Hope that helps email@example.com
Hi. you will need to replace two devices. you will need ot replace the ignitor and you will also need to replace the coil assembly that is located on the burner assembly. these two devices are faulty and, this is causingthe interruption you are experiencing.
The coils actually control the gas valves. they provide the resistance that initiates the opening and closing of the valves and, the ignitor ignites the flame.
