Actually your RAM has a 200mhz frequency, 400mhz is the data rate , this is why it's called a Double Data Rate.
The maximum ram memory speed officially supported by that board is 133mhz - it can't be overclocked to more than 166mhz. Your memory will be underclocked .

Used to have a single channel of RAM at 400Mhz 500MB, now replaced with dual channel each 1GB but 333MHz. The PC only detects 500MB in each channel, but has gone into dual channel mode. Is there a bios...

It would seem as if you have got 2x512mb sticks and not 2x1Gb sticks. There is no setting in the BIOS that will change how your system sees your RAM sticks. RAM wasn't made at the 333Mhz speed in 1Gb sticks, it was the expensive end of the market and so was usually only available in the highest speed range for business and industry.

I put a 2gb ddr2-667 memory chip in the single (only) memory slot in my gateway nx100x notebook pc. The pc will not boot up with the 2gb memory card. Is there a compatibility problem or do I have a ba

yes, there may be compatibility problem. your 2GB ram may be dead. try your 2gb ram on other notebooks. if it is working on other notebooks, then your ram is ok. your notebook will support maximum 2GB ddr2 memory per slot. your notebook may not be booting due to unsupported frequency of your ram. maximum supported frequency for your notebook may me 400Mhz, and you are putting a 667MHz ram into it. try to put a 400MHz 2GB ddr2 ram in your notebook.

How to hack into a motorola mr350r radio and change the frequencies

Hi, Jeremy,

Not Advisable, apart from being illegal, you can cause irripairable damage to your radio.

These radios were designed to operate on specific frequencies only.

My advice....Don't Do It!!!

Hope that answers your query.

HP DC 5000 series of business desktop computers;

Uses DDR Sdram that operates at a frequency rate of 333MegaHertz. (333MHz)

Also stated as PC2700.

Total Maximum Amount of Ram Memory is 4GB.

EACH ram memory slot's Maximum Amount is 1GB.

There are Four ram memory slots.

Asrock P4V8+ freezes after ram checking

Unless you are using 2 identical hdd's RAID should be disabled. This may be where the problem is as it's looking for a RAID setup where none exists. Enable SATA but keep the RAID set to either IDE or disabled. Then try rebooting. Hope this helps.

4 x1gb sticks of kingston hyper x 400 mhzi but only getting 200

Hi There,

As the memory is ddr2 ram 200mhz is correct in cpuid, 200mhz x2 (ddr2) = 400mhz, The only thing I can guess at why it is not showing all the ram is do you have a graphics card that can use system memory to boost its own? This can be disabled in the bios
