Northern Ghost software

You could use a programme called Symantec Ghost, it basically makes an exact copy or clone of your current Hard Drive. You will obviously need to purchase a licence for the software but there are alternatives which are free.

One such programme is Macrium Reflect, you can download it from http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx

It's not a typical backup, as in it will backup individual files and folder you choose but the entire OS and anything you have stored or installed. As long as your external Hard Drive is big enough, you should have no issues making a Ghost Clone.

GHOST is a program to copy one ENTIRE disk-drive to another disk-drive. Check www.norton.com for details on how to use the software.

gho is the extension of backup file format saved by Norton Ghost, that is Norton backup program.
GHO file extension can only be opened with Norton Ghost, and restored on an hard drive, after extraction you can save data on optical support using any CD burner software.

using this software, u can take the backup of any harddisk and exactely restore it in another harddisk,
usually, even for a capacity of 5 or 10gb, it just takes 10 to 15min, to complete the restore...

This software is installed after that u have get a copy of software in your system. It means u can installed the software (zyxel p-334wt) to other systems. Simply means the software is backup by ghost software without the setup files. And to be installed in other systems also. ok

some external hard drives comes with software that would enable you to backup entire files/folders with a single click or command. Some with a built in switch that perform the same action.
As for an entire OS, you said you want to "move" the entire system? I guess you can do this using a program like norton ghost, that will create an exact image of your OS and place it to your hard disk.

you can use windows backup facility, start>all programmes>accesories>system tools>backup, or use a third party software similair to norton ghost if you wish to back up the operating system as well.
