I would try an s-video connection from computer to tv, it just might bypass all that copy right stuff that may be giving you problems

check for bad capacitor in the power supply board and then check shorted component parts at the sustain board.

make sure u have the wireless set up or just use hdmi then click video 1 or 2 and ready to go..

Its going into standby mode and unless you hit a button on the remote or the TV, the TV assumes you are not watching and turns it off as a power saving feature. You used to be able to disable this feature by holding down menu on your remote and holding down menu on the TV for about 10 seconds however with this model TV that option is not available with the remote provided. I'm told you need to purchase a 105-102M Service Remote and that will allow you to get to the service menu to disable the Standby feature. Good Luck!
