Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My message reads "new voice mail" how do I listen to my message

You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

I JUST NEED TO REDO MY GREETING

If it is not an answering machine, the greeting is part of your phone service. Call the number you use to get your messages. Listen for choices other than listening to messages. You want to listen for setup, settings, or similar menus and change "outgoing message" or "greeting". Make sure you listen and then save it if you like it, or re-record if you do not.

Cannot delete phone message unless I listen to the entire message

You can delete the message, with or without listening to it, and by listening to your voice mail, you cannot
be scammed. Then delete the message and explore the possibility of screening the telephone number, with
or without the assistance of your local telephone company and local police department, and list your number
with the Federal Trade Commission on their do not call list at FTC.Gov and take a deep breath and relax.

Can't switch from voicemail to incoming call without losing messages.

Probably not, but the voice mail extension is still a dialable number. Try 500 or 165 or asking whoever installed it what the extension is.

It will prompt you the same as if you had pressed the MESSAGE button, only there will not be any new messages. You just have to play the OLD messages and you'll hear them.
