Hi mate I would advise you not to use the machine again as you can create more problems if you unscrew the screw on top of the agitator and lift off the agitator you be able to see the penny and take it out or if you cant see it then it is gone down into the pump you who than have to take out the pump undo the hose turn the pump over to one side and it should fall out

How to remove Frigidaire water vane?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know how to remove the water vane on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# FAFW3801LW. I see that there is possibly a penny inside the vane that you can hear an feel as the drum rotates. Typically, this is not a do it yourself repair, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your particular appliance, and should be able to take the vane off and remove the penny with ease. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

I have a 2 y/o Maytag Bravos MVWB700VQ0 top-loading washer that is suddenly making noise like there's either a) a chain loose in the drum of the machine, or b) a coin or other metal object is bouncing...

it is probably money in the pump. I have had my washer for two years now and an on the second pump. I had to call a serviceman to take the pump loose and dump out the change. It had 81 cents the first time and 26 cents the second. I need to call him again but I think I am going to try to do it myself. $85 a service call is just ridiculous when I know what the problem is.

Quite old admiral mega 22 plus topload washer. the machine did not agitate after filling up. I tried various points on the 3 cycle types and it did not spin either. My son tried moving the agitator and...

Yes sounds like you have now disturbed the seal and will need a new one, remove the agitator and inner drum to get at the seals, to remove the agitator pull off the softner cap and remove bolt form down inside.
To remove the inner drum, the top part of the washer needs to be hinged back to gain access, to do this insert a flat balde 4" from each side at the seam with the front panel to release the clips, lid will now hinge back to give access to the drums, on the outer dum there are clips all the way round to remove the top section of the outer drum release these. remove the bolts under agitator to remove the inner drum. you should have access to the seals but it has been a while.
Reason for not agitating in first place is probably the water level switch at the rear of the drum with a small 8mm hose connecting it to the drum.

I have a LG WM2016CW washing machine and there is change (penny, nickle, dimes ect.)stuck in the drum some were, how do i get them out?

You said "stuck" in the drum somewhere? Like under the agitator vanes? You should be able to take the lid off the agitator, it should either clip in or have a screw holding it on, and there you will see the nut, or keeper that holds the agitator on the motor shaft. Remove that clip or nut and you can lift the agitator out of the washer. From there you will see all of the wash drum and should be able to remove any foreign objects. If these "coins" are between the inner and outer tub, then you will have to remove both the top cover and lid, and remove the agitator and the inner drum to get to the outer drum in order to reach these objects. Not a hard job, but it will take you a little while. You could try reaching with your fingers around the agitator bottom and see if you can "feel" the coins or objects and possible use a small brush or stick or popsicle stick to move them out so that you can reach them, Kinda like "fishing" under the refrigerator or the couch. In the alternative, you could enlist four friends and unhook the washer from the water supply and the electric, and turn it upside down and try to shake the coins or objects out the top of the drum. Tilting the machine to one side will let them fall to the cabinet sides and possibly drop out the bottom when it is uprighted. Now I know why Mom always "checked" my pockets before she washed Dad and my clothes. We left a little of everything in there, from time to time. Good Luck with this.

Two dollar coin fell into a space between agitator and a drum.

you can pop of the agitaor ( held on by a 7/16 screw to the the inner tub will lift right out, it merely rests upon the spline, youll need to "pop" the main top first by "popping hte release clips. approximately 6 inches form either side between the main lid and the front panel are the clips, use a sturdy putty knife as these are tough to undo, the outer tub ring then simply unsnaps off and youll be able to remove the inner basket with no problem.

remove 2 rubber plugs on each side of lid remove the screws underneath lift top up remove the plactic ring around tub top by pulling up on clips along top edge remove the spring on left attached to ring lift ring off remove agitator again lift inner tub up and out ..when reinstalling inner tub be sure it drops completely in so the center gear drops in place
