I a having a laptop-HP pavillion dv6000,RAM 1gb and OS-32bit with window 7 ultimate,a problem of colourisation.i mean the display colour has change like a spray a of colours(green,deep blue)on the normal...

Try plugging in an external monitor and see how the display shows on it. If the display is ok on the external then your LCD Screen is going bad. If it shows the same colors on the external monitor then your video graphics card has issues.

Dell 1908s LCD monitor (new)

return the LCD to seller and ask for replacement. LCD colors should be even from top to bottom. test it with plain color as a background such as blue so you can easily see the faded portion.

Greenish screen

sometimes speaker magnets or any metallic device can cause this disturbance in this type of monitor. also, if you are using dvi, i would reset all video driver settings to default. this may correct this green tint you are seeing as well. reinstalling the monitor software could have a positive affect.

My pc just bought will not work

if you computer has a graphics card you would find a connector on the bottom, there will be two places where you can connect you computer to, one would be on the middle and the other would be near the bottom the connector woudl look blue in colour, make sure if you have a video card installed, you would see a blue colour port near the bottom and it would be horizontal, connect the monitor video cable to that port and this issue would be resolved

Blue-ish colour develops after an hour LG 42PX5D

There are voltages in the power supply that need to be very closely matched to the sticker that is on the back of the plasma display panel. If some of the voltages especially the VSCAN goes too high or too low then abnormalities such as discolorzation can happen. Changing the direction only affects direct view CRT's only. Plasmas are only affected by elevation and thats usually when you live 5000 feet or more above sea level. I would have a technician check the voltages once the panel has warmed up for 20 min or so and see if they are correct. Good luck.
