Up to five handsets each will need to be properly adjusted. You may need to set the main handset to synchronize with the base unit plugged into the telephone wall jack and assign special configuration numbers to the other handsets in order to properly identify each one within a specified location. One handset left in the turned on mode may make it impossible to place calls with the any of the other handsets. This will continue until either the battery dies or fails on the handset or the phone is switched off and replaced in its charger for charging again. Synchronize the main handset by pressing the MENU button on the handset, then pressing the down button IN order to select the number you wish to assign to that handset. Repeating this process if you have already done so will greatly decrease the level of errors experienced with panasonic phones.

SOURCE: uniden 5.8Ghz phone.

You need to reset the main base unit. Unplug the power from the back of the base. While the power is disconnected, press and hold the delete key while reconnecting the power. Wait for a long beep tone. When the display shows 88 or P, press play button one time. If you have a phone without an answering machine, disconnect the power from the back of the base, press and hold find hs button while reconnecting power.

SOURCE: low battery in Uniden cordless phone.

Unless you have one of the water proof phones, hold the handset with the keypad facing your palm, and the top facing your body. Press very firmly at the endention on the battery cover pushing it in a little and down at the same time. Sometimes they are pretty tight but it should come off with a little effort. If it is a waterproof phone, there are four small screws at the corners of the battery cover that will need to come out before the cover will come off, be very carefull as the screw heads are fairly easy to strip and if that happens it is almost impossible to put it back together and still have it waterproof.

With the phone in standby, press and hold [dnd] on the base. You will hear a confirmation tone and the [dnd] LED will go out.

Have Uniden EX14560 and do not know how to turn ringer back on..can you help me?

Do you mean the Uniden EXI4560 2.4 GHz phone? With the handset in standby, press the volume up button (above End and just below the LCD screen). Then you will be able to toggle between the 5 available ring tones and volume levels. (I'm assuming the unit is set to Ringer Off which is another choice in the list.) Press End to confirm and save your ring volume setting.

Most Uniden manuals are available from Uniden on the product page or the support page. The product page is http://www.uniden.com/cordless-phones/24-ghz-extended-range-cordless-technology/invt/exi4560g/ . Then go to the Manuals tab. The direct link to the EXI4560 manual is http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/EXI4560om.pdf .

All of the Uniden manuals are here: http://www.uniden.com/scat/cordlessphones_mnl . Use the drop down menu to select the type of phone and then find it in the list by numerical and alphabetical order. The EXI4560 is on page 4 under cordless phones.

I hope this helps.

Uniden ANA9710 Phone has problem charging when set in base, have to take battery out and charge that way. also...phone sounds like it's breaking up when speaking...lots of static type of noise. 2nd...

press and hold CID button for 5 seconds to access the phone's menu.

Then change ringer type and volume.

For the phone breaking up, try different channels of that phone to receive better frequency. The phone with the weird battery may have faulty or bad battery or charger contacts that need to be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and need to be resoldered.

Disconnects incoming calls after one ring

The problem may be a short on your line. (Have the local Teleco check your line.) If you have other phones, you may want to check them for dial tone(DT) when this happens. If you have no DT, your cordless may be the problem...unplug, and let charge overnight. If problem continues, replace the battery in cordless, or discontinue use.

2 uniden cordless phones aren't working

I always tell people NOT to buy new batteries to try and fix their cordless phone. It seems to rarely solve the problem and you are usually better off just spending the money on a new phone. Unfortunately 5 years is a long time for cordless phones these days. There are so many brands, and so many thousands of models, it's impossible to keep track of them all.
