Re: Vista Internet Problem
Assuming you don't have any data on the hard drive that isn't backed up, use the Product restore CD/DVD that came with the laptop to re-install Vista completely from scratch. THIS WILL WIPE ALL EXISTING DATA FROM THE HARD DRIVE. Then go online ONLY to download any and all Microsoft patches. Then make sure you have good anti-virus software installed and up to date (run the update repeatedly until it says there are no more updates). Then AND ONLY THEN you can safely go online to do other stuff. Install iTunes after taking a System Restore checkpoint (look in the Vista help in the start menu for this). If, after installing iTunes, you get the same problems, use System Restore to revert to the state before installing iTunes. Don't try & uninstall it - it doesn't always work properly. Then use a different media player (e.g. WinAMP) - iTunes and Vista often don't play nicely with each other.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Try to uninstall IE7. Once it's removed, restart your computer then it will revert back to the older version IE6. After that you can opt to install IE7 again or much better a newer version like 8 or 9.
To uninstall IE7, kindly follow these steps:
Close all programs.
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
Click Uninstall a Program under the Programs category
In the Tasks pane, click View installed updates.
In the list of installed updates, double-click Windows Internet Explorer 7. In the Uninstall an update dialog box, click Yes.
Note If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
Follow the instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 7.
When the uninstall program is finished, restart your computer.
After you restart your computer, open Internet Explorer. Click Help>About Internet Explorer and check if it's on version 6. If it is then proceed with upgrading to a higher version again.
Your question is not so clear... If you have problem with restarting Internet Explorer, you can use utility from: http://www.nirsoft.net explorestart.exe cam restart Internet Explorer, and can restart desktop (explorer is hart of windows) without restarting of windows. All programs has button for closing (red cross), and you can always start on e icon. I suggest to use Mozilla Firefox browser. You can install DownloadHelper for YouTube video downloading and so on. It is more safe option.
There is problem with your Windows explorer. I strongly recommend that you upgrade your Internet Explorer on your computer by downloading and installing Internet Explorer 8. Make sure you select the right country where you live in and the right OS (Windows like XP or Vista etc).
You will have to uninstall ( Reset ) Internet Explorer and Reinstall.
To do so :
1. Open Control panel in Classic View 2. Open Add/Remove programs 3. Click on Windows components on left tab 4. from the list - Uncheck Internet Explorer 5. Click ok and restart the PC 6. Open Control panel and Add/remove programs 7. click on winows components 8. Put a Check on Internet Explorer and click ok and restart the PC
You can then download the latest Internet Explorer from Microsoft Website
1. Open Control panel 2. Open Programs and Features 3. From the list chick on Internet Explorer Self Tool 4. Click Change button on top tab 5. Continue with the instructions on screen
OR you can choose Repair option on Tab to Repair any broken coding in Internet Explorer
Make Sure your system is free from virus, trojans or spyware or adware, they slow down the system as well as consumed Internet bandwidth too.Scan your PC with a Good Antivirus but I recommend you to use any Internet security suite.
The latest is Internet Explorer 7. click below to download it. it may solve your problem(s). if you already have IE7then all you have to do is change Internet Explorer settings. Clicktools then internet options and then click the security tab. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie...
