Assuming you don't have any data on the hard drive that isn't backed up, use the Product restore CD/DVD that came with the laptop to re-install Vista completely from scratch. THIS WILL WIPE ALL EXISTING DATA FROM THE HARD DRIVE. Then go online ONLY to download any and all Microsoft patches. Then make sure you have good anti-virus software installed and up to date (run the update repeatedly until it says there are no more updates). Then AND ONLY THEN you can safely go online to do other stuff. Install iTunes after taking a System Restore checkpoint (look in the Vista help in the start menu for this). If, after installing iTunes, you get the same problems, use System Restore to revert to the state before installing iTunes. Don't try & uninstall it - it doesn't always work properly. Then use a different media player (e.g. WinAMP) - iTunes and Vista often don't play nicely with each other.

How to re-login in internet explorer

Your question is not so clear...
If you have problem with restarting Internet Explorer, you can use utility from:
http://www.nirsoft.net
explorestart.exe cam restart Internet Explorer, and can restart desktop (explorer is hart of windows) without restarting of windows.
All programs has button for closing (red cross), and you can always start on e icon.
I suggest to use Mozilla Firefox browser. You can install DownloadHelper for YouTube video downloading and so on. It is more safe option.

I cannot download, always asking serial no. license for internet downloader manager

Your "Internet Download Manager" is not activated. That is why you got this problem.

You have two solutions,

1. Activate "Internet Download Manager".

2. Uninstall "Internet Download Manager" from your computer.

You can uninstall "Internet Download Manager" using the following steps

For Windows XP

You can remove Internet Download Manager simply through Add/Remove Programs.

1. Start-control panel-add or remove programs.

2. Find INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER on the list.

3. Click on that then you can see a button named "change/remove",click on that button.

4. After uninstall INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER restart your computer.

For Windows VISTA and Windows 7

There is problem with your Windows explorer. I strongly recommend that you upgrade your
Internet Explorer on your computer by downloading and installing Internet Explorer 8. Make sure you select the right country where you live in and the right OS (Windows like XP or Vista etc).

Internet disconnects on using mozilla, safari, google chrome except internet explorer

This solution depends on how long ago you installed all 3 Browsers on your system.
I'm assuming you're using a Windows PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista

1- First, you want to uninstall Safari and Google Chrome (one at a time) from your PC. These two browsers are new to PC's and are not fully debugged/tested yet.
2- after uninstalling both, restart your computer 1 time.
3- After starting up again, start Firefox and try to surf to a website you haven't tried before on it.
4- If unsuccessful, check which version of Firefox you're using. If it is older than version 3.01, use Internet explorer to go to their website and download the new version.
5- uninstall the old version of firefox first, before installing the new version (always follow this rule for all future program installations, unless otherwise stated in the instructions for the program)
6- Once you have the new version of Firefox installed, run it and check for internet connectivity.
7- Firefox may ask to get settings from Internet Explorer at some point, say yes.

Let us know how it goes and rate us. :)

Explorer problem

Hi

I suggest to restore the settings of your internet explorer to defaults. There could be bugs during your windows update.

1. Open internet explorer, go to tool --> Internet Options ---> Advanced tab ---> Reset.

Reset all the settings then restart your computer. In case you cannot open internet explorer because it will just give you a white blank page. try the following steps below.

1.1a Click Start -- type msconfig on start search box (for vista only). Click Run (for xp only). a pop up box window will show up (System utility configuration). Look for the tab Services.

Under services tab, put a check on the box that says "Hide all microsoft services" at the very bottom screen. Click apply then close. Restart the computer.

After restarting the computer follow step 1.

Keep me posted

Regards
