Question about Nokia 6101 Cellular Phone
When you punch in the letter on top screen there is an option of how you want the letters to come up. the 2 top green bottoms will help you to choose.
It says somwthing like alpha, multi-tap, numbers. If you choose numbers and press # 2 will come up.
If you choose multi tap and press # 2 once letter A will come up, if you press 2 two times letter B will come up and so on. Once the desired letter comes up wait till the cursors stop blinking and it will move so you can time the next letter or you can move the arrow to the right for you to type the next letter.
If you choose Alpha (or the other choice left) and you press # 2 and all the crazy letters will come up, I undeerstand, if you see letter ok for A it will stay and you can go to the next letter, for the next letter you press # 3 you get letter Bor crazy letters for that key, you move the arrow cursor down and it will show you all the letters you have in that key, you can scroll dow and the press ok on the letter that you need. What happens is that the phone has many words for each letter you type and is helping you to make the words. This used to be confusing to me as well, If you play a little with the buttons you will get it. Try to set in for multitap, it is a little easier.
