Question about Dell OptiPlex SX270 PC Desktop
How do you remove cover for this particular small form feed pc, help appreciated.
Lay the unit DVDRoM face down, and then slide the green 'thingy' (technical jargon) on the back of the unit in the only direction that it will go (should be a diagram on the case itself, to show how...) and at the same time slide the upper casing forward. I have one of these suckers, and it ain't as easy as it could be, but it will move!

At the back of this unit - There is a green level: slide up to release top cover - slide this cover forward to remove from the body. The same green level - slide it down to release HDD (small access door on CD rom bay). Lift this small door to access to HDD. Good luck
