My acoustic solutions LCD tv has got power but no picture. i have taken the back off and checked for obvious problems like expanded or leaking capacitors, and cant find any. i have looked online for ages and seems that the most common problem could be the inverter board. does anyone know how to remove the inverter board and how to test it? or any other things that i can try? cheers!! lcd32805hd

All of the boards these days are checked with an oscilloscope. The good 'ole days are pretty much gone. If it is leading to the inverter board, there are a few reputable vendors on e-bay that should have what you are looking for. Not certain where the inverter board is on that particular set but it does what it implies. It inverts power from ac to dc.

SOURCE: manual for acoustic solutions lcd32805hd tv

You will need an HDMi lead running from the port on the back of your television to the port on a compatible DVD player/recorder, then toggle (keep pressing) the AV/Source button on the remote to switch the television mode to HDMi.

The HDMi port will be marked HDMi on the back of your television.

Acoustic Solutions LCD26761HDF TV turned itself off & standby light started flashing. TV wont respond to remote or on set buttons

The solution to Acoustic Solutions problems, such as intermittant power off and flashing blue light is very simple: dump it in the trash. This product has lots of problems which are associated with memory and timing. There is no software update available, its just cheap Chinese ****.

Acoustic solution lcd tv

This sounds like the unit is expecting component video input (RGB) rather than composite (yel). Check the settings on the set. The power cord makes no difference.
