Just upgraded the OS and now my sound is gone. Tried resetting the device as I had also lost the Startup logo screen. The screen, although different, is back, but not the sound.

If it doesn't turn on after a hard reset have a logic board issue (also check if the Audio-Jack is loose). In both cases there are TomTom Repair Guides websites that show you how to replace components.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Lost gps and then found 6 months later and cant remember password

To reset your ONE XL, use a straightened paper clip, or something similar, to push the reset button. The reset button is next to the memory card slot, on the bottom of your ONE XL. Then turn your ONE XL on it will be back to it's factory settings.
