I'M TRYING TO DO A RECOVERY ON MY LAPTOP EVEREX STEPNOTE NC SERIES VER 2.O 1502 MODEL,I TRY PRESSING THE F8 BUTTON MANY OF TIMES AND I KEEP GEETTING THE SAME THING,THAT SOMETHING WAS INSTALLING SOME SOFTWARE OR UPDATE WRONG(ERROR)..EVERYTHING WAS OK BEFORE WITH NO PROBLEMS...ALSO HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I INSTALL THIS WITH THE CD RECOVERY//// THIS WAS THE SOLUTION GIVEN TO ME ON THE BOTTOM Solution 1,change it to f12 start up d drive run it under that drive. PROBLEM NOW IS BRINGS ME BACK TO THE SAME PROBLEM,I TRY THE F 12 WITH THE CD ROM AND THE CD RECOVERY .WHAT IT IS DOING IS ,,,WELL THE CD IS MOVING BUT NOTHING IS HAPPENING,HELPPPPPPPPPPP

You will need to purchase a recovery disc from Everex if they will provide one, go online and contact customer support and technical department to see if this is possible.
Try to boot to safe mode by pressing F8 or F12 as soon as you power it up. If you can boot to safe mode you may be able to un-install whatever was installed.
I found this information on Everex web site, it didn't help me may be it works with you.
To restore Windows Vista™ Home Basic back to its original state you may use the Recovery DVD provided with your original system or by pressing the "F8" key during system boot.
