HP VP6210 won´t turn on at all

Hi, my HP VP6210 Projector won´t turn on at all, nothing, completly dead. I have tried different power cords and nothing, I have check the voltage of the cords to see any damage and they are OK, the deliver the 120V to the projector but it´s dead, exactly as if it had a blown fuse but I can´t find it´s location, I opened it and there is no fuse (at least any I can see).

Please help me ut, it´s out of guarantee but I have used it for no more than 50 hours! I use it few times a year.

I can´t find any repair manual on the web to try to locate the fuse

Projector won't power up.  Tried different power cables.  No indicator or power light goes on.  I understand that even if the lamp is bad, the power indicator light should go on.  Lastly, when I turn the projector upside down I can hear something rolling around inside like a small piece of plastic or metal that is loose.  Projector has never been dropped or mistreated.

My Sony VPL PX10 won't power up.  Hasn't been dropped or misused.  Tried different power cables but no indicator light.  I understand that even if the lamp is bad, there should still be an indicator light when the power is on.

The fuse (if it has one) is on the power supply next to where the plug plugs in. if the fuse is ok, replace the power supply.

try to replace all the capacitors on the motherboard. This are the only parts that leak in time. Try otherwise to reset to counter or update the firmware on your machine on the infocus site.
Goodluck !

My projector won't turn on, only the power light shows red, the status light is blank. Tried the remote and manually turning it on.

Hello
If the power light is ON and status light is OFF; check if any objects are blocking the air inlet or outlet grill, and remove them if any, and carry out the following.
[1] Unplug the power cord from wall outlet.
[2] Make sure that the projector has cooled off.
[3] Plug the power cord into the wall socket.
[4] Press the power button.
Check whether the cooling fan has stopped. The problem is with overheating itself.
If these does not help you, your projector need service. OK.

Hi my Sony VPL S600 won't turn on at all. It seems like it's not getting any power. I turned it off and a few days later i went to turn it on and nothing, no lights or sound or anything.. What is the...

I know this sounds silly, but check the switch on the back of the projector. There is normally a hardware switch, somewhere around where the power goes into the projector. Make sure this is on. Second, try taking out the bulb, WITHOUT TOUCHING ANY GLASS, and replace it. There is often a safety switch that prevents it from powering up without a bulb. Also, try using a different power cord, or try using a different outlet. If it works with a different power cord, your cord was bad. If it works with a different outlet, your outlet will need to be inspected by a qualified electrician, to make sure there are no shorts or other hazards. If none of this works, contact Sony about getting the projector in for repairs. Please do not try to open the projector your self, there are a lot of capacitors that store energy for long periods of time.
Thank you! Jordan

Projector not booting up

Hi,

The projector may not be receiving power or it may be malfunctioning. Turn the projector off and unplug the power cord. Confirm the power cord is securely connected to the projector and then plug the cord back in to a different outlet and turn on the projector. If this does not solve the problem, and another light is on or flashing, check the projector’s status.

Hope this helps

Hi, I am not familiar with that model, But usually if you go into the settings menu you will see settings for the display which may be under "Display" "Rotate" "Keystone" "Flip" That model is made to be mounted upside down so somewhere in the menu there will be a setting similar to those I mentioned that will flip the image.

Hope that helps, Sorry I couldn't be more specific.
