Xbox 360 problem

my xbox has been running well for the past 2 years until a few weeks ago when the red ring appeared while i was playing. I turned the console off and turned it back on and the green light came back on so everything seemed fine, until a 2 days ago when the screen went blank and all i could hear was the sound of the game and i cant get it to work again.

If you can still HEAR sound, but can't see. Check your Audio Video Cable.

It's the colorful one (red, white, yellow) (red, blue green, white, red)

Make sure the connections are secure into the back of the TV as well as the connection to the back of the Xbox 360.
