I have a Ipod Touch and when I connect it to the unit in the car it says accessory attached and just says loading on the unit. I have the white cable from the unit to the Ipod.

My mates Ipods work fine so it cant be the unit. What can I do wto the Ipod to make it work?

    Many thanks

I would to know how I can gain control over my itouch when it is plugged into my car. Currently, the white screen displaying "accessory attached" appears, preventing me from manually changing songs through my itouch. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone...
Now I have to start by saying that this fix I dont know if someone has done it before or if its just a glitch that seems to just work perfectly but I did it one day by accident and BEHOLD I was able to use my iPod Touch to change songs in my car stereo and that accessory attached screen was no longer there.
Important!! There is only one catch you have to have summerboard or winterboard installed on your iPod which means you must have it jailbroken first.
So get in your car and do everything you usually do... Plug the iPod in of course the dreaded white accessory attached screen pops up instantly... right?
Now press the Home button and go to wherever you have winterboard and open it. Select something or deselect something... just make sure winterboard restarts springboard while its making the change you selected or deselected and THATS IT!.... go to music or your iPod icon on your iPod touch and select whatever song album artist you want. It will continue to work that way until you shut your car engine off. Good thing about this though is that the entire process takes all of 15 seconds to do so its not a pain to do it again once you are ready to drive away again!
This also works when watching videos or you tube in your car as well as playing games... the picture/game/video will be on your iPod screen while the sound is coming from your cars speakers.

Any questions just let me know...
I hope this works as well for all of you as it has for me. I do it every time I go anywhere now! lol

My Pioneer car stereo recognizing the songs on my IPod 3G

I had this exact same problem. Here is how I just figured out how to fix it. First of all, my friend as an iTouch as well, so I plugged his iTouch into my DEH-P4000UB, similar to your 3100UB, and it actually worked and played music. So I went to my Music then selected a song and pressed pause. I turned on the car and then plugged the USB cable into my iTouch, exactly the same as yours. When I replugged my iTouch into my deck it gave me a different error this time, Error-19. Refreshing but still frustrating. So I turned off the car, unplugged the USB cable and tried it one more time. This time I selected "Repeat" on the song, don't ask me why, but this is exactly what I just did. I turned on the car, plugged the USB and it worked!!!

I understand your frustration and I've been dealing with it for a while now. So hopefully this helps. Good Luck!

ITouch 2nd g only plays music throuhg left side of all headphones

Try playing with the headphone plug, until you can also hear the right
channel and also try a different set of headphones as it is probably a
matter of an intermittent headphone jack, or plug, owing to sudden
snatching of the headphone plug from same, a very common problem.

Eliminate this cause before submitting your Touch for much more
expensive remedies

Itouch charging

Hi there,

Some speaker systems which are only compatible for charging the ipod nanos and classics do not work with the iPod Touch and the iPhone, the internals are slighly different from one another which will not allow that speaker system to charge your iTouch.

To play & Charge your touch, i suggest getting a speaker system that supports the iPod touch platform.

Hope this helps ?!

Music on Itouch shows up in Itunes but Itouch says No content add from Itunes

First you need to restart your itouch.
Then, plug it in to your computer and wait for iTunes to pop up.
Select a few songs from your library or some movies that you have and drag them to your iPod.
What I did was, dragged some movies on my itouch to the tv shows folder as soon as i did this everything popped back on to my screen

Avic-d2 and itouch

you can play the video on your player, and see to it if there is an input jack at the back of your unit, such as rca jack, mini jack or special connector , and try to set the menu botton if there is an input selector.

Connect iTouch or Ipod nano second generation to Sony S500 home theatre system

either a cable with one side jack (headphones) and other side two RCA plugs (that's red and white plugs) or one with jacks on both if your home theater system supports it (probably doesn't)
