You may have the privacy mute turned on, the one which allows you to say rude and insulting asides to someone next to you and the other party on your phone can't hear that.

Hi, the hear piece of your phone is defective. It needs to be replace before you can hear again. Before you change the earpiece, you can use an handsfree/hearphone.

Regards.

People cannot hear me but i hear them

Hi,

when you call someone and they don;t hear you,it means that the mouth piece which is located at the bottom of the phone and allows people to hear is faulty and will need to be replaced.

When you replace the mouth piece, people can now hear you.

Take care.

Can not hear sounds or calls. when someone calls the phone i can not hear the but they can hear me. when i try to play music i can't hear anything.

Hello,

Since you cannot hear your caller or even when you call, you hear anything but they can hear you.

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece of your phone is bad and will need to be replaced in other for you to hear when you call or when they call you.

Replace the earpiece as i said and you will see that your problem is solved.

Take care.

I cant hear anyone talking on my iphone

This sounds like the earpiece has gone, you should be able to hear them if you put it on loud speaker or if you are using bluetooth. However as it is only 5 months old it is covered under warranty so my advice would be to take it back to where you bought it or contact apple direct. They will repair it for you however you will be without a phone for a number of weeks
