Question about Hitachi 42EDT41 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
This is dead, just turned off one day and would not turn back on, have checked fuse etc, any ideas?
If you checked the fuse, and it is good but the set remains off, this is an indication that you primary power supply has a problem. At this point you will need to have the schematic diagram to check the voltages on the power supply board. If you have a background in electronics you can do this with no problem, however if you do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest that you have a qualified TV repair person fix this TV for you.
My diagnosis of this TV is that the power supply board may be defective. This is the best I can offer with the information given.
