Antenner sign on my netgear not flashing carnt get my laptop or my other p.c to conect to internet?

Be sure the cable from the modem is plugged into the "WAN" port on your router.

Unplug the router, wait a minute, then plug it back in. If that doesn't resolve it, contact Netgear support for a possible replacement.

I understood your problem,
I think you should uninstall old drivers of your netgear USB Adapter then re-plug Device or update the drivers of DEVICE. Sometimes it cause such a type of problem due to drivers. you should no need to renewing.

Set up my netgear router. laptops show that they are wirelessly connected to the main computer, but we cant get them to connect to the internet. also lost the netgear cd that came with router. do we need...


The netgear router installation will set up the internet connection during install.
Download the Router driver from netgears website and install on the computer/s then your up and running.
it appears you wireless card is seeing the router so just install the drivers and your set.

Iv got netgear on my main computer but it wont allow me to connect useing my laptop a message comes up saying someing about firerwalls and i carnt use my laptop

1. What operating system do you have XP or Vista
2. Disable your windows firewall for the initial connection

Without knowing the operating system I can tell you this much: go to Control Panel>Network Connections>Local Area Connection>Properties then view the adaptor configuration settings to see if Radio On/Off is a selectable option. Many laptops do not have a physical on/off switch.

I have a Netgear DG834Gv33. I had it conected to the computer for a while then took it off an put the Takltalk modem on instead. I now want to reinstall it and it keeps throwing up "There is a problem...


well you can put the netgear and try to call your ISP (internet provider) and ask them to register MAC address.

that should solve the issue.

Carnt get the wireless connection to work on new laptop


Click Start, then select Control Panel.
Click Network and Internet Connections. The Network and Internet Connections window opens.
Click Network Connections. The Network Connections window opens.
Right-click Wireless Network Connection.
Select Enable to turn on wireless Ethernet or Disable to turn off wireless Ethernet.

conect in your lan cross conection  pc to laptop .then go to network properties then go to network setup wizard & share internet conection note pc name or laptop name both two other name.
