Question about StarTech.com StarView SV211K 2-port KVM Switch
Codes just gone off again Thanks
Obviously the posting of cable keys is theoritically illegal - so my answer is given only for the purposes of training and/or illustrative purposes:
1. Starview patch fix has been available since April. A null modem cable, 2 minutes time and an old PC should stop the need to ask for these ;)
2. If any of your mates have an 'auto updating' receiver (either the starview, eurovox, replay lite etc) - you can easily get the keys from them - i.e. Eurovox, Menu, OK, OK, type 1968, then 1968 again and see the Nagravision screen.
Similar units all have access to the current key - anyone who does not need to input them manually by default must be auto updating them
3. Download BigMaq's toolbar - it's regularly updated with the keys and has masses of reference guides. You can get it here

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
