Question about Televison & Video
I hate to say it but it sounds like two different problems. Green snowy patch is what they call a diffusion problem and can usually be cleared up by adjusting the VA and VS controls on the power supply board. The other issue is either a drive board, a ribbon connector to the display panel, or a bad display panel(screen). It didn't say what brand you have but these problems are common in samsung, lg, vizio, and several other brands. Good luck and if there is anything else you need just ask and we'll try to fixya, Russmann.
