I have a Bosch Exxcel dishwasher that will not fill with water. I have checked the inlet hose and all is ok in that respect. If I put water into the machine with a bowl, it will drain. Gary Lawrence

Many bosch have a fill hose with the inlet valve actually on the bit that screws on the tap - ie remote from the machine. this valve also has a small tube connected which gives a signal of overfill and shuts off the valve. to reset the valve, turn off water and loosen the water connection so that pressure is released.
then try the machine. if this fixes it but fault reoccurs, then you have an overfill condition

this sounds like flow sensor failure,it it fails machine will either not fill up or fill and drain without washing its a cheap part to replace and is fitted downstream of inlet valve behind l/h/s side panel either attached to inle hose or heat exchanger.

My bosch exxcel dishwasher is saying to check the water how do i do that

There is a water inlet valve (lower front service panel) and solenoid located. Check to make sure that there is no blockage, if the main or other tubing entering or exiting this valve is kinked, the machine will display the check water light. There is also a float switch on the inside of the dishmachine, if it is stuck, the light will go off also. Ensure that water is flowing into the machine, and there are no kinks in any of the hoses. If there arent, look into the float. If it is under warranty, do not attempt to do any of this yourself, call for bosch support first.

My bosch exxcel 7 washing machine do not fill up with water

First check the water inlet valve and check for continuity with a meter if that checks ok open the cabinet and check the pressure switch diconnect the clear hose and blow into it check for obstruction also blow into the pressure switch itself you should hear a click if that is ok and you still do not have fill the valve may be stuck in the closed position so change that part

Bosch SHX46AO60C/30 won't fill with water. Have check water under sink - it is on. Motor will run, but no water. Have tried all cycles.

Hi

When the Dishwasher won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the float switch assembly. When the water fills your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the float switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

Bosch dishwasher working for 2 minutes and saying check water and coming up e14

Possible that the inlet flow of water is low and so there is time taken to fill up . So check the pressure at the inlet. Also if the water level pressure sensor is faulty then the program will be halted as the water level is not indicated.
Please check the sensor.

My dishwasher is not filling with water i have tried the water tap and checked the hose pipe it has been working no problem for about 3 years does that mean its wear and tear of the machine ? or could it...

This does sound like a problem with the "anti-flood" device that does detect water (leak / spill) at the base of the washer. This device is a protection device that consists of a polystirene float and a micro swithch. Once a water leak or spill is detected it automatically puts the washer in pump out mode and switches the inlet water off. You need to determine if a leak exists that has caused the float to trigger the micro switch and clear the water / leak. This should put the washer back to normal.

My bosch dishwasher will not fill with water. I have manually filled it but it just pumps it out when I switch it on.

the unit is going into drain mode. check your hose for leaks. when water leks in the base of the unit the float switch is activated and the unit will stay in drain mode until the water is removed. check float by removing side panel and look into bottom base for water.

Whirlpool APDW2 dishwasher not filling with water

The most common problem when a dishwasher is not filling with water is a failed water inlet valve. It is a solenoid valve that sits directly behind where the hot water hose connects to the dishwasher.

Dishwasher not taking in water

It could be a few things, one of them is a defective water inlet valve, the water inlet valve lets water enter the dishwasher from the main water line, another thing it could be is a defective float switch, the float switch rises up as water fills the dishwasher.
