Question about Sharp FO 77 Roll paper Thermal Fax
Our fax machine can receive clear copies. But we send out documents, they are hardly readable when they reach the recipient.
It's hard to say, not being able to view a copy of the sent document. What happens when you make a copy? If you see poor quality copy, it is most likely the scanner or scanner glass. Remember that when you clean it, to also clean the white strip opposite the glass, if it is not clean you won't get a proper white balance.

The scanner glass is dirty or needs replacement. lift up the scanner door where you put original in. See the glass strip 1/2 inch by about 8 inches. clean with alchohol good. dry. test. Lawrence
