1) Ensure that your K-Jam Smartphone is not locked in anyways 2) You will then need to find a reliable Windows 6 ROM image (use Google to find a source) and 'flash' your device following the ROM upgrade instructions very carefully (always find out the recovery steps required for your specific device for 'failed' procedures as flashing could 'kill' your smartphone... just in case!). Hope it helps.
There is no official i-mate upgrade for Windows Mobile 6. However, you can find ROMpacks for WM6 on the XDA forums (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=356). be aware that these are not supported by the manufacturer and will void any warranty on the device. You also run the risk of making your device inoperable if you do not follow instructions crefully, or install a corrupted ROMpack.
download Windows Mobile 6.0 from ( Imate.com ) , when you download the file connect the phone with your PC using Microsoft Activesync , then run the rom ( file that u download it ) .
then follow the instruction that will appeare to you on your PC screen AND will Appeare to you in your phone
It is a general imate Hang up. Some imates just do it for no particular reason like a design flaw. Otherwise you could try an updated ROM version. On one imate I solved there where loose screws inside because of someone tampering with it but I don't think that's the case with yours. Try imate's site for a ROM version upgrade.
