Question about Canon PIXMA MP470 All-in-One Printer
I can use configuration settings to tell the printer to print grayscale and to use the B&W cartridge only, but once I select any type of photo paper it insists that it must use the color cartridge. I do not want it to.
How do I print B&W photos using only the B&W cart?
I have the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?

If you use gray scale they definitely use the color caritridge
When you printing a photo they normaly use the color cartridge
Try to set the printer to black& white and try to do it
