Question about PC Desktops
I am assuming you want to re install or upgrade your operating system without losing your files. If this is the case the solution is simple. Purchase an external USB Harddrive Large enough to hold all your files. Plug it in and save all your files to it. After you re-install or upgrade your operating system simply copy your files back. You can purchase 500GigaByte external harddrives for under a hundred dollars these days at best buy or circuit city and even cheaper online. As an added bonus you will have a full back up of all your files in case of future catastrophic harddrive failure.
