I recently purchased the Nikon D300, have read through the manual, and still can't figure out how to change the settings so that it's taking the same picture constantly. (same subject, lighting, etc., the camera will shoot at 5 different shutter speeds).

go to the custom settings menu, then section "e"..number 5, auto bracketing set, choose AE only.
Then go to F4...assign func button, for func buttons + dials...choose Auto bracketing.
Then when actual shooting, press and hold the func button and rotate the main dial to choose number of frames...func button and sub dials to choose the difference in exposure.
