Music sounds like it is in a tin can

When I play the music on my MP3 player it sounds like the voices are being sung in a tin can. Any Ideas how to fix.

When I play the music on my mp3 player the voises sound......not normal. how could i fix it?

This is exactly my problem, I can hear the actual instruments but, the voices sound as if they are singing in a tin can. I see where the suggested solution is a higher bit rate,...suggesting that the free sample music already uploaded to the device was being ripped with a lower bit rate from the manufacturer? I will try the suggest solution, and post later if indeed it worked.

I tried the higher bit rate, no change,..strangely I ripped several Cd's at the new rate, and all were crappy, however Eleanor Rigby, by the Beatles was the only song thus far, that has any quality at all, and that's a stretch. I did try my pricey Sony headphones it made a difference in how good I could hear the crappy sound.

Sounds like your music is being ripped with a lower bit rate. That will heavily affect the sound quality. Try ripping your music at a higher bit rate. If your not sure how to do this, get support from the people who wrote the program you use. If that doesn't help, then maybe you can try buying better head phones or ear buds. Hope this helps.

For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.

I have an option on my sandisk sansa fuze mp3 player for voice recordings. There is pre-recorded literature that I would like to download, but, I only know how to download these voice recordings under...

You can't. Audiobooks are just like music, and the Sansa treats them that way. Think of them as words spoken without music.

Voice recordings are made on the Sansa, when you use it as a digital recorder. You can record lectures, meetings, or notes to yourself, and play them back.

With my Missil GL 15058 BK, just hit the play button and it starts to play. You have to do this shortly after it initializes, if you wait too long it shuts down.

Sylvania Video MP3 Player says it will hold 500 songs, however, my will only play 25, says it has only 25 songs, but when connected to my Windows media player, all the song(137) will play on the player?

I understand what you are feeling. It took me 4 hours to figure this one out. You have to make sure that the MP3 Player registers to your computer first and you can do this by connecting and disconnecting the system until it finds the new hardware. Then you open the drive with you voice file in it and then you have to drag your music and put it into the voice folder and then when you disconnect the divice from the computer, the music will be on your MP3 player. Then you can click on the music icon and then you will see voice and then you can see your music as well. And you should be ready to listen to your MP3 Player.

The symptoms you describe are caused by a break in the earphone socket ground connection.

If you are confident enough, dismantle the player and re-solder the 4 connections to the earphone socket.
