Question about Hunter 22451 The Brookline Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan
The fan will stop working for days and sometimes weeks, then it will just come on. The light works and we can hear it click when we turn on the different speeds but it will not come on during the down time.
sounds like theres some sort of radio interference in your house, you can try to change the code for the fan, turn off the breaker at the fuse box then in the canopy above the fan near the ceiling is the dip switch for the fan, you have to remove that cover near the ceiling and look for a tiny set of switches and change the position of them , also in the remote you have to take the batteries out and change that code in the remote so it matches the new code you set in the canopy. if it still does it you can try to unplug all of your cordless phones and wireless routers in the house, anything that you have with an antenna and turn it off and unplug those to see if that helps the situation.
