Question about Amana ACE245R Air Conditioner
After our power went out & came back on, my a/c unit now displays E1 and will not restart. Any help?

Air conditioners in my house everytime we use it is getting ices and is not blowing a heat at all..

E1 indicates Filter needs replacing/Cleaning , this code flashes after 720 hours of operation time.
Disconnect the power plug
Clean or replace filter
HOLD DOWN (dont let go) Of the ON/OFF button and plug the unit back up and continue to hold the ON/OFF button until you hear a beep
After the beep unplug your A/C
Then plug it back up to and turn it on for normal operation
IF THIS FAILS TO REMOVE THE CODE
UNPLUG A/C THEN HOLD DOWN THE MODE BUTTON AND PLUG IT UP STILL HOLDING THE MODE BUTTON UNTIL YOU HEAR A BEEP.
UNPLUG UNIT AND THEN PLUG IT BACK UP AND ONE OF THESE 2 STEPS WILL FIX YOUR PROBLEM UNLESS THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM IN THE CONTROL BOARDS
