My son accidently changed the language on our HP Officejet Pro 8500 wireless from english to chinese. How do I change it back?

Give this a try.

1. Press the button with the wrench icon to enter setup.
2. Press the left arrow next to the "OK" button twice.
3. Press the "OK" button twice.
4. Using the keypad type "11".
5. Using the keypad type "1" to confirm.
6. Choose your region by typing the corresponding code using the keypad.
7. Using the keypad type "1" to confirm.

    To change language on you printer model HP OFFICEJET Pro L7580 follow the following steps: (press "?" then press "7" then Press "OK" then press "1" and then your scroll to the language of your choice or press "11" for English In Details 1.Press setup button with "?" sign under the left arrow 2. 2. Press "7" or scroll left of right to # "7" on display and press "OK" 3. Press "1" .. by now you will be asked in English to press "11" for English so you press "11" or chose your preferred language.

Turn off printer, uninstall printer driver. Restart computer. Turn on printer, connect usb. When asked printer driver, insert disk, select English language for printer driver.

HP Officejet 8500 Wireless All-In-One Control Panel Faceplate Err

>the error says it, what you need to do is check if the faceplate the plastic thing which covers the printer buttons is attached firmly.pry open the side of it rmove the faceplate then attched it back again.

Cant access the language change setting

Go to settings--then go to phone settings--then go to language settings--then go to phone language
there you can change your phone's language to english if this is not possible contact your phone's website there you will find latest details.


use google translater to get the chinese words for the bolded words.It could be easy for you to indentify the icons.

About changing the language

Best way to solve this is

Try to reinstall the printer driver in correct language

Use the add remove program in control panel to uninstall the program
