Hello vkparker,

You may have dislodged one of the boards while moving the set. I would suggest that you, makes sure that all of the boards are attached properly check all connections, make sure inter-board connectors are pushed down and secure. In addition make sure that you don't have any cold solder joints (which are a common problem with TVs these days), this would require you to touch up (resolder) those connections (if you can not do this have a electronics technician do this for you). After doing all of what I have suggested, if the problem still exist, I would suggest that you have a qualified TV technician examine the TV for what is wrong, I would suspect that the problem is in the power supply board.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Move Office

Good protection of computers.place computer in a garbage bag then place in packing boxes surrounded by with poly stryene foam cheezels or shredded paper. also do this for any thing fragile !

label side of box with room box has to go into as well as destination address, name ,and room on top of each box. As movers place boxes on top of each other and move three boxes on trolleys . you can end up with boxes placed in wrong rooms if only relying on top of box labels.

Move most vital items last into the truck as they will be first out of the truck at destination.

Why Should You Hire the Professional Movers and Packers for Relocation?

professional movers and packers belong to an association that accredits them to do the job properly
that gives you a place to redress any issues that the company disputes
they also carry an insurance against damage and loss
they know their job
if you move a full house it is packed in the one container or van and that is not disturbed until it arrives at your destination at a time to suit you
non accredited movers load your gear on any truck going your way and any left over goes on the next available truck
basically it is your responsibility to get quotes and talk with the companies as to how they operate , read forums on their service and then make a decision
remember it does more damage to move just down the street that to move across the country as the care factor is lower for a local move

To transport a loewe spheros 42 plasma unit with rotating stand does the tv unit detach from the stand? I understand that the plasma tv should be transported in an upright position only is this true?

Yes, it should be transported in upright position.
When we moved, our moving company arranged a crating company to crate our Spheros unit. They built a crate around the TV and secured it in an upright position along with the rotating stand. They then put a tilt sensor (you get the serial number of the tilt sensor) to make sure that the moving people don't tilt the crate. They also un-crate it at your destination. The only problem is that the TV is already quite heavy to begin with (~180 lbs), and with the crate, it becomes almost impossible for the movers move it in perfect upright position....though our movers really tried hard.
