I have a new Dell 1525 Model 5750 laptop running Vista. I installed Myst V on it. I later determined that my video card doesn't support the Myst graphics. When I tried to uninstall the program Uninstaller said it was already uninstalled. But the 4GB Ubisoft game file containing Myst still shows up in my C drive under programs. So I tried to delete the folder in C drive but was told I don't have permission to erase it. Since I am the only user account, I should be the administrator so I am at a loss for how to delete this program.

Re: Administer Permission denied to erase a program
Move the mouse to the folder right click on properties. Uncheck read only. Press apply. If there is a security tab in the properties Go to the security tab and add yourself as user if your not on there already and check enable all. Press apply.
If that doesn't work make sure your user id is set for admininstrator. To do that go to the control panel. Select administration tools. Select computer management. Select users. Find your name on the list and move the mouse over to it and select properties. Press the member of tab. Add administrators by searching for it in the next dialog box.

all light scribe should be compatible with windows vista ..the issue is to install the correct program and driver to operate it ..If it has the interface to connect it ..and it sees it and accept the driver ...will work ..It does not depend on the system configuration ...cause if it runs vista its already fast enough and have at least 1 G of ram ..

when you install the new version of windows you will format your hard drive so before you do reinstall make sure you backup all your info that you want to keep. To install just put the windows cd in and follow the directions it gives. Make sure when you do format the drive you make the new partition bootable. The installation will tell you how this is done. Good luck
