Simply install audio drivers of your motherboard. And sound will be there...
Drivers will be in Mother Board CD when you have purchased your pc. If you havent motherboard cd then download latest realtek from this link... http://drivers.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=20476&t=0&i=1 If this driver fails then search for compatible drivers for your motherbaord . Audio driver is necessary.

Can i remove a pirate copy of windows 7 and replace it with my genuine copy of windows xp

Hello,
you would need to insert to XP disc in the cd drive and reboot the pc. As the pc reboot whatch for "Press any key to boot from disk". This will make the pc bypass the hard drive and load the boot file from the XP disk. Once you have answered the inital start questions, it will give the option to format the hard drive or create an extended drive. If Win 7 is not needed any more, I strongly suggest doing the format and have a fresh, new install of XP, Genuine copy.

Good luck.

I have a old gateway pc and I would like to install a Hard Drive from a Dell pc into it. Can it be done?

Swapping the hard drive from the Dell into the Gateway will not work because the Dell hard drive has been installed with Dell specific drivers and configurations.
When you install the Dell hard drive into the Gateway you need to wipe the hard drive and install a fresh copy Windows XP onto this hard drive and the Gateway device drivers etc.

Good day. I bought this Netbook with Windows 7 installed. I need to format and reload Windows XP as I have software that I need to use that only works with XP, I have an external "USB CD Drive"...

Hi neil720...

Installing the external CD Player...
You will go and start up and install Windows XP by doing he following:
Plug in your external CD drive, and let windows install it into the system...
Once the CD is ready to go, shut down the computer.
***************************************************************************************
You will first need to format your hard drive, I will give you instructions on how to do that.

1...To format your hard drive and install XP:
To set you computer back to factory fresh settings you will need to format the hard drive and install the XP operating system and the drivers.

1.Format the hard drive:
You do this by double left clicking on "My Computer",then double left click the main drive (normally C drive).
When the window pops open, you will choose "Format"
Keep in mind that once you format your hard drive you will loose all your files, programs, pictures, etc that you installed since the computer was new.
So make your back up on a portable hard drive, thumb drive, etc.
2. Once the formatting of the hard drive is complete you will need to install the XP operating system along with the drivers.
You will now insert the CD's into your external CD player starting with #1 first and continuing until all has been installed.
After all has been installed, shut your computer off and restart.
That will bring your computer back to Windows XP factory new condition as far as operating is concerned.

It is running very VERY VERY slow. I thought reinstalling windows xp and drivers may solve problem but did not. I booted the system from C drive with windows xp pro in he system. It formats the hard drive,...

You may want to check the hard drive - sounds like it may be starting to fail. When it reaches the point of not continuing does it start to click? If you hear clicking then the drive is having issues and its time for a new one.

Windows xp not installes on hp notebook

It means your hard drive is not connected to the computer. Go into the BIOS and check to make sure it shows up. The best thing, set the BIOS to the default setting.

I am trying to install WINDOWS XP PRO. At the nd of installation, I am getting the following error: "NTFS file is corrupted" What is the problem?

I usually see this when the hard drive is bad, or the cd is scratched. Try loading xp onto a freshly formatted hard drive. You need to do a FULL format, not just a quick one- and if there are bad blocks I'm not 100% sure it marks them bad on a full format- but starting with a freshly formatted drive with no left over junk on it helps as a start.
